Our Story and Passion
Simon Wilkes, a farm advisor at TeamAg Consultancy Ltd, brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to clients throughout Taranaki. Simon’s passion for helping dairy farmers stems from a deep understanding of the industry and a genuine desire to see businesses and people thrive. He specialises in optimising system performance, including human resource management, recruitment and retention, farm policies, pasture management, feed budgeting, mating plans, and on-farm efficiencies. Simon's drive comes from identifying the untapped potential within farms and their teams, and helping them to achieve it.

Meet Simon Wilkes
Simon Wilkes is the founder of TeamAg Consultancy, bringing a lifetime of hands-on dairy farming experience along with a Bachelor of Agriculture degree from Massey University and a Diploma in Small Business Management. He is a past winner of the Taranaki Dairy Industry Awards Sharefarmer in 2020, and placed 3rd in the national finals. His dedication to the industry and helping farmers succeed is evident with Simon judging Taranaki Dairy Industry Awards since 2021 and his past roles as Chairman of Taranaki Young Farmers . Beyond his professional life, Simon is a husband and proud father of three. He is actively involved in his community as a junior soccer and rippa rugby coach and serves as Hawera Premier Soccer Mens Captain and Club Captain. Simon’s comprehensive expertise and genuine care make him an invaluable asset to any dairy farming business.
